Welcome to Trinity Methodist and The United Reformed Church, Porthcawl.
We hope you find our website informative and helpful.
We are a friendly community church which holds many local events and weekly meetings of groups as well as regular church services on Sundays. We have very active Support groups within the church including Action for Children and Trinity care and support for carers and young people with learning difficulties. We also support Traidcraft and are proud to be known as a Fairtrade Church and use fairly traded produce in all events.
There are 11 am and 6 pm services every Sunday.
Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month at 11am and the second Sunday of the month at 6pm.
There is also an 8am Communion service on the third Sunday of each month.
Junior church is held during Sunday morning worship and a special All Ages Family service is held on the second Sunday of the month.
Minister's Sabbatical Leave.
Reverend Teddy Kalongo is away for 3 months on his sabbatical leave. He will be spending time in Zambia before travelling to Chicago and visiting Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. During his absence Ministerial cover will be provided by a team of our supernumerary ministers. He will return at the beginning of September. Services and all other activities will run as normal.
The next Messy Church session has had to be postponed due to holidays and family commitments. There will be no sessions during the school summer holidays but it will be resumed on Sunday 16th September from 2 to 4 pm.
All families are welcome and the session will involve play, songs, arts and crafts and refreshments.
