Welcome to Trinity Methodist and The United Reformed Church, Porthcawl.

We hope you find our website informative and helpful.

We are a friendly community church which holds many local events and weekly meetings of groups as well as regular church services on Sundays. We have very active Support groups within the church including Action for Children and Trinity care and support for carers and young  people with learning difficulties. We also support Traidcraft and are proud to be known as a Fairtrade Church and use fairly traded produce in all events.

There are 10.30 am and 6 pm services every Sunday.

Tea and coffee are served after the 10.30 service in the hall.

Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month at 10.30am and the second Sunday of the month at 6pm.

There is also an 8am Communion service on the third Sunday of each month.

Junior church is held during Sunday morning worship and a special All Ages Family service is held on the second Sunday of the month.

A number of significant modifications have been required and members who fall into the high risk category are still advised to worship from home. We have a live ZOOM service every Sunday at 10.30 for those not able to attend in person. We also have audio services.

Grateful thanks to all who have contributed towards this scheme and especially to Haulwen Phillips for all her hard work organising this for Trinity members.
This year we were unable to collect and fill our usual shoeboxes but have donated over £800 towards the Samaritan Purse operation.

BIBLE STUDY

On Monday 27th July , we resumed our Bible study via ZOOM. This was held from 7 to 8.pm. A number of us attended to read and discuss Matthew chapter 13, the feeding of the 5 thousand. It was an enjoyable and informative session. We propose to hold meetings on  Monday evenings to discuss different topics and the session on 2nd November focused on the future of churches in our Area.

THE NEXT SESSION IS ON MONDAY 30th NOVEMBER AT 7PM

Please email Teddy  if you would like to receive the link to join the next Zoom meeting.  Alternatively his telephone details are also on the following page:
